Bernd Seibel joined TVM Capital in 1993, and serves as General Partner and CFO of the firm’s European operations. He leads the Munich finance team, including overseeing accounting & controlling, and corporate finance. He advises TVM Capital portfolio companies regarding corporate finance; building their controlling and reporting; and developing efficient tax structures and financing strategies. Mr. Seibel serves on the board of alfabet AG, Berlin, Spepharm Holding BV, Amsterdam and Noxxon Pharma AG, Berlin. Bernd Seibel is actively involved in TVM Capital’s fundraising activities as well as in all European IPOs of TVM Capital portfolio companies.
Mr. Seibel serves as Chairman of the EVCA (European Venture Capital Association) Reporting Guidelines Working Group. He also is a member of the tax and legal committee at BVK, the German Venture Capital Association, and a member of the innovation committee of the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) in Munich and member of the examination board for German CPAs.
Prior to joining TVM Capital, he served as Manager of Mergers & Acquisition and an auditor at KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft. In this role, he also supported and audited venture capital clients. He earned a degree in business administration at the University of Cologne.
