David Poltack joined TVM Capital in September 2000, and serves as general partner in corporate finance. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of CyDex, Inc. and ClearCube Technology, Inc. Prior to joining TVM Capital, he worked for more than six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, where he was a Manager specializing in venture capital and healthcare.
As a member of TVM Capital's corporate finance team, Mr. Poltack works closely with the life sciences and technology teams, concentrating on all issues of corporate finance involving TVM Capital portfolio companies. His responsibilities include performing financial due diligence before TVM Capital invests; coordinating term sheets and legal documents; monitoring investments; structuring and coordinating acquisitions/mergers; and preparing portfolio companies for IPOs or mergers and acquistions.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Boston College, an MBA, with honors, from Suffolk University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
