Stefan Fischer joined TVM Capital in September 2000, and is General Partner for Corporate Finance. In this role, he works closely together with the Life Sciences and Technology teams, concentrating on all Corporate Finance issues involving TVM Capital portfolio companies. He is responsible for structuring and coordinating the investment process from a finance, tax and legal perspective; performing financial due diligence and valuation analysis; negotiating term sheets and legal documents; monitoring investments; and providing operational support to TVM Capital portfolio companies. He is member of the supervisory board of Direvo IBT GmbH, Cologne, and also serves as a board observer to Biovertis AG, Vienna.
Mr. Fischer was actively involved in numerous IPOs of TVM Capital portfolio companies like Intercell AG, Jerini, Wilex, Newron and BioXell as well as in trade sales like TravelTainment and Arrow Therapeutics and Direvo Biotech.
Prior to joining TVM Capital, Mr. Fischer spent three years as a consultant in the corporate finance department of KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft, where he gained extensive experience in the valuation of enterprises, financial due diligence, corporate restructuring and auditing through national and international projects.
Mr. Fischer earned a master degree in business administration at the University of Passau. His focus was Corporate Finance, Banking and IT. Furthermore, he specialised in Corporate Finance and Business Communication at the Helsinki School of Economics. He is a member of the Working Group Finance at BioDeutschland Association.
